The instructions are easy to understand and follow. The instructor takes her time with those who need additional assistance and appears genuinely happy about dancing and teaching. The atmosphere is inviting which is nice for someone like me who has never taken a dance class before. I usually just move instead of dance so it's nice to have actual skill! Good times.

I love the vibe I get from your studio. I've never taken a dance class before and I was very nervous, but the instructor was awesome, and all of the other staff that I interacted with were great as well. I got the feeling that it was the kind of place that long-time clients felt they could just drop in, and that made it feel much less intimidating.

Laura is an amazing teacher. She is patient and recognizes that not everyone learns the same way so she uses a variety of techniques and scaffolding to build her students' skills.
The teacher, Eric Sconyers, is a fabulous teacher. He had us dancing within 3 minutes of starting the lesson. The class was fast-paced, yet Eric made it easy to catch on. His demonstration of the steps was clear and easy to follow. His demeanor is cheerful, up-beat, and very professional. He answered questions clearly and happily. The studio is very clean and pleasing, including the restrooms.
The employees at Chicago Dance were friendly, had great energy, and I got to meet the owner and his fiance!

I am getting ready to complete my second year with Chicago Dance and I can only give positive reviews. Each and every day the entire staff has shown the same exact level of politeness and professionalism as when I walked through the doors on day one. From breaking down the most complex routine to answering a beginners question, the entire staff has always shown that they care. The teachers work side by side with each student reviewing each and every routine and pattern till you're satisfied. I've never felt rushed, over-whelmed, or stressed to the point where I would give up because there is always someone there to show you more than one way to achieve your goal.
Between the excellent teachers, the friendly environment, fellow eager students, school outings, and in studio events I've been able to excel beyond my own belief. I look forward to many more years with Chicago Dance, keep up the excellent work.
