The instructors for group exercise are almost uniformly amazing! I so appreciate their time and effort for our classes.
Crystal is fantastic for the morning crowd. We all love her. The place is always clean. I like the yoga on Fridays that we are now having with Priscilla the equipment seems to be intact and enough options for people to use. I know Rick said they sometimes have a problem with the hot water and the men’s shower. I haven’t used the women’s shower in years so I don’t know Landscaping has recently been done I wish they could get some good volunteers to help them on projects. I understand that’s a difficult thing to get. But I unfortunately don’t have a lot of time to offer so I’m not one of those to volunteer. All personnel are professional and welcoming. There’s definitely a lot of activities for all ages.
I don’t know l haven’t started any of them yet.
Easy to access
The Y has been a true blessing to and for me. I engage in multiple classes and have met and made some amazing people. I needed this in my life after moving to Greensboro right before the pandemic. I can truly say that the Y saved me.

Amazing director, good organization, great coaches, i’ve been participating in sports and activities sense I was a child here and will always continue to go back.
They're flexible, fun and there's a good family atmosphere in all the programs.
The newsletter is great. Everything is planned out and organized from drop off/pick up to programming. I loved receiving the tour and knowing that even group bathroom usage is organized and well thought out. The staff seem attentive and engaged with the campers. I know the campers are enjoying themselves.
We love the YMCA and it has so many great programs for our sons to participate in!!!! So glad we joined!
They offer a multitude of different activities for my kids. They are never bored and always ask to return.
My daughter lives camp! The cool chants cheers and songs are so fun! This week she learned about other countries and customs. Awe love camp and how organize it is.
We love the swim lessons at the Y and would highly recommend them!
The water aerobics classes
My son really enjoys it and the program runs smoothly. Bonus is they provide lunch and snack if you want. Love that!
Ymca summer camp keeps the kids busy. My son has come home everyday telling me everything he has done. He is also excited and ready to go each day.
It was different every day
It’s a one stop shop for parents. You offer so many programs and activities for both the parents and children. The Y is our home away from home and everyone treats us like family!
My 6 year old son chose camp over a home day with mommy if that tells you anything! The YMCA is his place. We hear him singing the chants around the house and excitedly telling stories of swimming, field trips and new friends.
A nice mix of active and creative
You keep them BUSY and they come home T.I.R.E.D. I also love the recognition of positive behaviors and encouragement to make good choices!
More space and freedom to work out without the judgment
I like that there is a variety of things for the kids to do. I like that they have pool time and play time each week. There are also given time to do homework and/or read.
