I like the convenience of the Bryan Y and the facilities
It helps you to be active and improve your health.
I’m an early riser the group of people who show up at opening are wonderful
agood gym and pool.
wish the broken lockers fixed!
I had an out of body experience and went to heaven….and then responsibility kicked back in and dragged me kicking and screaming away from the Y. I love the Y more than the critique from Ratatouille loves Ratatouille. More than your mother loves you. Hold the L
Good variety
Indoor track. and weights..
You offer a wide variety of different activities for the whole family.
Everyone there is respectful and there are so many exciting things to do. I love being able to walk on the indoor track & get in the jacuzzi & pool while my son works out in the fitness center or play basketball.
I like that genuinely everyone goes to the Bryan Y - there’s no “stereotypical” member in terms of identity, age, etc. which makes it clear that everyone is welcome there to pursue their goals, whatever their goal may be.
My rating isn't about programs or activities. Everything is great, except the family locker area near the pool. Lockers 5 and 19 are continuously full despite saying "Day use only" this has occurred for many months now and inhibits the use of the lockers by others who only need them for a few hours of a day (especially on busier days).
Everyone is very friendly and the instructors are very knowledgeable about training.
good availability for lap swimming, perfect water temperature. The variety of classes for group exercise is great. I like that it feels like a community place....
I love everything about your programs and activities because it keeps my son busy and learning about new things
I mostly just did body pump, which is wonderful. I really like John's Body Pump class. Just the right mix of humor and pushing us.
The staff here is awesome, they listen, and the programs and activities are tailored to you.
The instructors are very knowledgeable about their subjects and work with everyone on their level.
I love the fact that the Bryan YMCA offers a variety of programs that is inclusive of different ages, fitness levels, economic and professional backgrounds. It provides family type of atmosphere.
It's good for all ages.
The beginners swim class has been perfect for my grand daughter. It was exactly what she needed to get more comfortable with the pool and techniques. Her instructor was patient and attentive.
I love doing the water exercises as I'm unable to exercise out of the water due to numerous health issues. The instructors take into account my problem areas and limitations. I've only been going for about a month so far, but I've already been able to see improvements in my mobility, weight, and strength. Without this resource I would be unable to get the help I need to improve my health and my life. Thank you!
I received my life guard certification. It was rewarding.
The care patience the instructors has
Freedom and taking time to develop
I use the Y for my own supervised workouts which are usually in the mid afternoon. I do enjoy seeing a variety of people and activities in the gym and in the weight room; seeing this makes the Y different from any other workout facility. People from all over the city regardless of their background attend, they look at the Y just as I do, at the very least that's my impression.
When my wife and I use the facility, it has always been clean.
I like the friendliness and smiles of the staff. I also like that the equipment is kept up to date, even when something is not working it doesn't take long to ser that it has been repaired.
equipment is pretty good, need longer hours on the weekends and open earlier, men's shower has drainage problem
