I know this happens but maybe the changing staff recently caused a small bump but my daughter is still enjoying the lessons. I would say that now and again she says some kids talk a lot (not maths talk) and that can distract her from the maths. Maybe she also gets sucked in to the talking too but she at times does find it annoying. Maybe the tutors could monitor more closely at times.
My son enjoyed going to Mathnesium and working with the teachers there. It encouraged him to see the other children working at the same time, working at his pace with his personalised plan and using his points/star cards to redeem toys.
My son absolutely LOVES going to Mathnasium, so much so that he has actually asked to increase the number of sessions he attends! The team has created such an encouraging and engaging environment that he genuinely looks forward to every visit.
The star card reward system is brilliant. It’s simple, motivating, and incredibly effective in keeping young learners excited about their progress. The instructors really understand how to connect with children, making learning fun while still ensuring they’re challenged and growing in confidence.
We’ve seen such a positive change in both his skills and his attitude toward maths. I truly cannot recommend Mathnasium Clapham highly enough. They are doing fantastic work, and we’re so grateful to be part of their community!

My son has been attending for 5 months now and the progress he's making is really encouraging. What works particularly well for him is the group study environment, being surrounded by tutors who are available when needed, rather than the pressure of a one-to-one session where you feel obliged to fill every minute. He uses the time as he pleases, asks questions when he needs to, and gets on with his work independently the rest of the time.
The unlimited session model is a real bonus too, especially during school holidays when he can go every day and make the most of the flexibility.
The tutors have a wonderful positive energy, and the manager Salima is absolutely lovely, always welcoming and clearly cares about the students. Highly recommend for any parent looking for a supportive, low-pressure environment for their child to learn.

My daughter loves her sessions, the team is very fun and caring and knows their subject. it's been really helpful to prep for secondary school entrance exams, especially the onsite mocks. the team has always been really helpful adapting to her specific learning style, and a few occasions to gaps/topics we specifically asked for. highly recommended !!!

Mathnasium sems to be a good start in improving our daughter's maths ability. It's been only 2 months but she's already showing signs of confidence and independence. We hope this continues with time and adding more classes during the week. Salima at Belsize Park is fantastic at handling not only students' needs but also parents' requests in terms of timeliness, precision and helpfulness, while marvellously assisted by the very patient Graham, Yuri and Lucas.

I am Georgina Kakoulakis and I'm 9 years old. I have been going to Mathnasium for a month and I have learnt more than the whole school can teach me. When you first go you might think its too easy for you but once you keep trying it gets harder and there are more challenges to face. But with the help of all the wonderful teachers you can learn a lot. All the teachers are so kind and so helpful. The best part about Mathnasium is you get a star for every page you complete which means once you have a certain amount of star cards you get a prize.

Recently her school sent home recent work she done in school and she got all correct she was extremely proud of herslef.
My child has became more confident and tries to figure things by himself.

Has been a great help
We’re only a month in, but our daughters really enjoy the sessions which is great, as our eldest doesn’t like maths usually. A bit too early to see progress but I’ve been impressed with the way the teachers have kept in touch and have added us how things are going.
My Dayghter who is 11 has improved so much and she goes in happy and comes out happy, the staff are so kind and helpful and child centred. I highly recommend
