We have our go-to organizations we support, especially over Christmas, so I had not planned on a donation this Christmas season to the Y. However, after recently being deeply touched by a lonely senior who sat in the locker room chatting with a person who took the time to hear her story of a very rough upbringing -- but she had such a grateful heart looking ahead -- it totally touched my heart. And THEN I was reminded why I love the Y SO MUCH. You include and encourage people from all walks of life, young, old, disabilities or not, to walk in your door and be at home no matter what their fitness levels are because it's an encouraging environment. (I'm not sure she ever worked out, but the company was such a blessing to her, and she was an unexpected blessing to me and the young lady that took the time to listen to her story.) Thank you, YMCA!!

Constatine at Ferry Pass Elementary is phenomenal and I know that my kids are getting love when they’re with him after school. He has great communication with the parents and really cares for our children. He goes above and beyond to make sure to carry out the YMCA mission with our youngsters everyday. Cameron has been so kind to us and our family. Making sure we are aware of any and all benefits the Vickery Center has to offer our family. He is always there when we need his guidance. I grew up in before and aftercare and summer care in the YMCA. I am still friends with my schools director 39 years later. The impact through the leadership program the YMCA offered still makes a difference in my everyday life. You all are making a lasting impact on these children’s lives everyday. It is especially important for men to be involved in the YMCA’s children’s activities. I didn’t have a dad growing up, but I always knew I could count on the men’s guidance at the YMCA. I know I am not the only kid who benefited in that same way. I know kids are benefiting from Constantine’s presence and Cameron’s direction daily.

I like the "Core and More" and "Kettle Bell" classes taught by Nina. There's a core group of participants. We're very loyal and very appreciative for our fitness.
Love Fabienne’s Body Pump class, pickleball and the pool.
I like the pool. The lap pool needs to be warmer.
Staff members are very friendly and helpful. Lots of choices for classes. The only complaint I have is that the machines are not cleaned more often. Look at the base of them lots of dust. I am allergic.

It's an excellent facility, well appointed with high quality equipment, with a variety of fitness classes to choose from.
I use the basketball courts and upstairs gym the most. I wish the upstairs was a little bigger.

I like how the Kidcare has a variety of options available, Parent’s Night Out or special events, like the Halloween Trunk or Treat. The front desk team welcomes everyone and ask how you are.
I want to highlight a staff member at the levin bear Y. Michelle, in maintenance works during the week days daytime hours. The women’s bathroom consumes her time for many hours a day and she is very detail oriented in making sure it’s in excellent condition when she finishes. On top of this, she always has kind words and holds a conversation with any member that comes inside while she is diligently doing her job at the same time. She engages and smiles… quite honestly I feel better when I leave the bathroom then I did coming in; when she is working. The showers are my new favorite amenity as long as I come in on the days she is here. Thank you Michelle for exceeding my expectations and welcoming me each day. Working out isn’t the only reason many of us come to the Y. We need a connection from a familiar face that consistently brings joy to us each visit.
