Y Thrive aqua fit and HITT classes are spectacular
I like the flexible Pickleball drop in schedule Monday to Friday for several hours on each day and unlimited access to the exercise equipment for a little over $20 every 2 weeks. The staff are very welcoming and helpful when approached. I love love love that they employ people with disabilities - my frequent interactions with these hardworking men make my day! Thank you!
The Jerry McCaw YMCA offers a wide variety of activities that appeal to people of all ages. Energetic and enthusiastic instructors lead classes in Aquafit to boot camp, stretching, HIIT, Zumba, and much more, so participants can work to improve their strength, fitness, balance and stability. Upstairs, the gym is organized and well equipped, for workouts. But truly, the instructors, like Jenny, Paul, Katelyn, Christine and Karen are very encouraging and keep everyone motivated. They are awesome!
I love absolutely love Group Power on Thursday and Saturdays. Turf on Sundays is stupendous. Yoga on Saturdays is wonderful, and Boot camp on Monday evenings is impressive! JMFC has top notch instructors!
I really enjoy the program because it offers a great mix of engaging activities that keep everyone involved and learning. The staff are friendly and supportive, and I love how the program encourages creativity, teamwork, and fun. It’s a great environment for both personal growth and making new connections.
The staff and the facilities are super.
The karate program was very fun for my kids, something new and different for them to try. The instructor was wonderful.
Lots of options are available to work on , however the family membership is expensive . I would have joined it if the membership is reasonable

Truly the Heart of the Community – JMFC YMCA Delivers Excellence!
JMFC YMCA is hands down one of the best community centers I've ever experienced. From the moment you walk through the doors, you're welcomed with genuine warmth and a sense of belonging that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff is incredibly professional, friendly, and always ready to help – whether you’re a first-timer or a long-time member.
The facility itself is top-notch: clean, modern, and thoughtfully designed to accommodate people of all ages and fitness levels. The fitness center is well-equipped, and the variety of classes—from yoga and spin to strength training and aquatics—is impressive. There’s truly something for everyone here.
What really sets JMFC YMCA apart is its commitment to community. They offer youth programs, family activities, and outreach initiatives that make a real difference. You can feel the impact they have—not just physically, but emotionally and socially as well.
Whether you're looking to get fit, meet new people, or simply be part of something positive, JMFC YMCA is the place to be. I can’t recommend it enough.

Swimming pool is great. And the members 18+ locker room is great too. There was a woman with her toddler and young daughter that snuck in about a week-ish ago. This woman was BREAST FEEDING in the hot tub. I don't know how the YMCA employees found out she was in the 18+ locker room, but a female employee walked in after some time and basically told the member that her membership does not include the use of that locker room. The member (lied in my opinion), said that there was no hot water in the family room and the employee was very firm but professional and stood her ground by saying it has been fixed and gently reminded the woman that she still does not have access to the 18+ locker room. Very great employees, in this day and age, everyone is afraid of conflict but many rules need to be enforced. That female employee did a fantastic job, good for her! I hope she gets some recognition!

The pool was great and we loved the adults only change rooms.
