Amazing facility!! I love it. It every piece of equipment I love. The women’s plus change room is so clean and perfect. I haven’t been to a YMCA that has everything in place. My 3 year old loves it too!! Very happy attending this particular Ymca
I like that JMFC is very family oriented. From childhood to adulthood, I have always loved going to my local YMCA. I never felt unwelcome and I have been impressed with the consistency of staff attitudes aligning with the YMCA's core values. The only reason I did not give a 10/10 recommendation is because depending on the family, I may not recommend if I knew cost was a concern and that the family did't qualify for any subsidies.
Enjoyed playing pickleball. Meeting new people. Getting my exercise and having fun at the same time.
All of them but I prefers the pool activities. It is easier for me to do with instructor or by myself.😊
Paul is very kind and supportive towards all participants. He made us feel comfortable at the Y and included. The facilities swimming pool & gym equipment is awesome !!
I enjoy working out on my own pace and at my own time.
All staff are polite and helpful .I enjoy Aqua Fit and have noticed that I now can move my knee much better. It is such a relaxing experience.

There are a wide variety of programs for all age groups and fitness level.
I always recommend the Aqua Fit class to everyone I know who has arthritis problems....best thing I have ever jioned..

I have been a member of gyms most of my life and throughout Canada, including cities such as Toronto and Vancouver. The facility at the Y in Sarnia is as well equipped, if not better, than any of the other gyms I have joined in the past. The swimming facilities are truly impressive, meeting the needs of swimmers of all proficiencies.
An aspect of the Y that I really appreciate is how clean and well maintained the whole facility is and that everyone on staff is so pleasant, cheerful and helpful. It is a treat to see the whole organization working together as a team. I am also impressed with the friendliness of the other members who attend the gym. The whole experience at the Y is a tribute to the community and a big reason why my wife and I decided to retire to Sarnia.
I only go to aquafit and enjoy of energy of the instructors .

I like the pool and the pool locker rooms very clean
To be able to come and go when suitable for member, do activities that you enjoy doing, friendly people working there, that’s my thoughts on the matter.
I like the classes but do not like that they are in a room surrounded by glass where patrons walk by looking. It is very distracting but the instructors do a great job.
I pay for the extra membership for my family to have the change rooms with the saunas and hot tub but the steam room is very moldy and smells. it needs a deep clean because that is not safe to inhale.

My main interest is lane swimming and the YMCA makes it easier to obtain a lane for individual swimming.
Gymnastics and swimming
Initially I was confused about the registration process, but once we started going I was just amazed with the work that the swimming coordinator does, the swim instructors, life guards, volunteers at soccer and little rascals, we always feel so welcome and included. And the Everything change rooms are so clean and peaceful.
Aquafit is great !
I like the group classes in the mornings. The 8:00 am class is perfect.
