Love the Y! Have been going over 20 years. Great staff and variety of equipment and programming
Swimming
There is a wide variety and multiple times available for each. I personally like the water aerobics classes.
Abbey is the best! My daughter (12 months old) has a big fear of anyone and anything besides me, her mom. We signed her up for swim lessons and Abbey was sweet and kind to us. My daughter has a positive association with water now and loves practicing her “skills” in the bath. My son (5) also loves his swimming lessons. I only wish there were more classes available. They get booked up on the weekends immediately.
They are not over booked. While I am sure you all would like to be more popular, I appreciate being able to get there without having to compete for a parking spot or space in the locker room and pool for swimming laps.
I do not participate in the programs or activities. I prefer to exercise independently in the cardio room.
Nice equipment and friendly staff.
Lots of things for kids and adults to do! Really enjoy the pool and the staff.
The atmosphere is great and families are welcome here.
I have tried the Body Pump, Stretch & Strength, and Dance Fit classes and really like all of them. I wish the Stretch and Strength class was offered more than one evening a week or on a Saturday morning.
I am interested in trying the yoga class, but haven’t been able to yet.
I also did the Get Started program with Mike R. and found that very helpful and informative.
I really like the early hours I can get to the gym and work out and all of the group exercises plus they have a great knowledgeable staff on wellness and fitness
Using the Expresso stationary bike. An additional bike would be helpful
The staff is very friendly and helpful. They treat you with respect.
quality and professionalism of instructors
Everyone is friendly at this YMCA. It is clean and has great equipment!
I attend Aqua fit classes in the evenings. There is a nice variety between each class. The lifeguards so a good job of engaging the members. I also appreciate the pool area being kept clean.
Trainers know what is needed recover your fitness
level. The equipment is modern and well taken care of.
Great place to workout
I like how the wellness coaches are readily available when needed.
Youth sports and parents night out!
Basketball program is great!
It is an affordable option to get kids interested in sports.
For the most part the staff and coaches are super nice and professional. It’s organized and the response times are fast. One thing I had a difficult time with is when games overlap each other and are at different locations. I have two kids enrolled in basketball so one child had to miss the second half of the game so I could go to my other son’s games. Other than that I think the program is awesome.
I'm currently a volunteer basketball coach. The director of the program, George Tintara, has been incredibly helpful. Additionally, the folks who run the desk at the Maple Street Y have been great. Keep it up!
I love the the referees teach the kids as they go. The coaches are great, but sometimes they get nervous in the game. The referees help guide them and the parents and kids appreciate it.
I like the instructors in the aquatic classes. The front desk employee's are helpful. I absolutely love Amy Roux. She is such a wonderful, inspiring instructor. She makes me want to come back to another class. She is very motivating. I also like Jerry as an instructor too.
They are enjoyable and fun for the kids. It is a very welcoming group.
YMCA Youth Sports make giving my child a chance to play on a team an easy, affordable, and worthwhile experience. They don't over-schedule and so far my child has been enjoying himself a great deal. He is also learning the value of being on a team.
This coach has really taken an interest in growing the Team! Coach Blair is awesome!
Convenient. Community involvement

I love the pool and body pump with Janet Thursday evenings
