Everyone is very friendly & helpful
Lifeguards are there when scheduled. Showers are required for pool use, good. Indoor track good. Locker size is good.
Outstanding group exercise classes.
I'm happy with the additional swimming pool available times
I love everything.
The director Brittney is a pleasure to work with.
I look forward to Wednesday and Friday when I can play pickleball with a very nice group of people that I may not have met if not for the Y
The employees are very helpful and upbeat. The variety of classes and times make it easy to find the right class for me .
I love Vicky's stretch class!
The front desk staff is always very friendly and helpful answering questions.
The class instructors are motivating and great at explaining proper form. I also appreciate the fact that they will demonstrate modifications to the workout based on the ability of the people in class. Also the instructors make themselves available to answer questions.
The teachers are so great with the kids.
The staff is the same, and always friendly!
The staff is absolutely wonderful!
My son loved the YMCA day camp. There were plenty of activities, there were enough counselors and they were good with children, and check in/out process was pleasant and easy.
Love the water fit classes
Great instructors and Y members were very nice
My children have a great time every year. Staff are great!
Lots of equipment to copse from
I'm new to the area and really enjoyed getting to meet other Y members. The people in my league were lovely and kind. I can't wait until the next league.
Teachers were patient and helpful, very good class and they provided great tools to practice at home.
This Camp is a great place for kids to create friendships, learn the core values and just to have good summer fun! My son has been in camp since the age of 3 (he's 9 now) and that was the best decision I made. Camp truly makes my kid's summer the best one each year.
We do a lot at the branch, so I'm not sure which program this is about. I'm thinking it might be from tiny chefs.
We've had fantastic experiences at this Y. Our son has basically grown up there. He participated in tiny chefs and was super excited to spend extra time with his YMCA friends and to learn how to make the weekly recipes.
I'm a little biased about YMCA enrichment since I run the arts programs ;) But at the South Oakland Y, I'm a member looking for great activities and a place for my son to belong and I've always had a great experience there.
The age geared activities

The facility
I like the people and the facility.
Friendly staff and kind people.
The people are fun and the facility is well maintained. They offer a wide variety of classes to meet the needs and interest of members.

I love attending and participating in the senior exercise classes. They provide a great avenue of staying connected with other active seniors that are looking to stay active, healthy and involved with other like-minded people. The instructors help make exercising fun while keeping our bodies moving.
