I like that the instructors for the sessions are personable and engaged with my children’s experience. I find that they provide valuable feedback as well. I also like the child watch program which provides an easy way for me as a parent to give my child free time and myself some time to either watch my other children participate or allow for me to have a workout session.
The Macomb YMCA offers a good selection of exercise classes. The trainers make the classes fun and interesting while we work out.

I absolutely love the YMCA in Mount Clemens! This facility is a true gem for families. The welcoming atmosphere, clean and well-maintained amenities, and variety of programs make it an excellent choice for family activities. The staff are friendly and attentive, always ready to help and make sure everyone has a positive experience. The pool area, fitness classes, and kids' programs are top-notch, catering to all ages and interests. Overall, the Mount Clemens YMCA is a fantastic place to stay active and enjoy quality time together as a family.

I really enjoy the water aerobics classes and have met a lot of nice people. I’m aware that there are a lot more classes that many people enjoy, and I may explore some of them in the future. I feel so fortunate that I have the YMCA So close by and I can go there as frequently as I want. I just moved over to Clinton Township within the last year. I’m very impressed with the YMcA and the quality of the people on staff at the YMCA.

If you’re interested in water arobics, you won’t find the availability anywhere for classes!!! There are many !!!
I like the instructors
For many years I had ignored the Y but since participating in the swimming and balance for seniors program I can't believe everyone wouldn't be interested in joining. The programs offered are exceptional.
I try to attend the water exercise classes as often as possible. I have found the Wednesday morning class (10am) is too crowded so I avoid that one. The Monday morning classes (9am and 10am) are also crowded but not as bad as Wednesday. It seems the Friday 9am class is a normal size but the 10am class is very small, I think that is due to the difference in instruction techniques.

Aerobic swim classes
I enjoy the classes I take with Cheryl and Kristen. They are both great instructors and make exercising fun. Also, I am always warmly greeted by staff members Wayne, Megan, and Krista. They are the best!
The best people
I have been a member for two weeks and the staff is very friendly. I have tried a couple of classes and I like the instructors and the activity is invigorating.
I would recommend to others because the building is clean and the other members are friendly. It’s a great place to meet other people and receive great services.
