The facility is well maintained. Most of the coaches are very kind to the students and work well with them individually as well as in a group. My children are always excited to go to swim class.
The instructor is friendly, helpful and direct. The class always starts and ends on time. The people in the class are fun, accomodating and great to work with. The facility is always clean.

I recommend the Carls Family YMCA all the time. My grandson worked there this year as a camp counselor. The Y is the most inclusive place he’s ever been. He has mild to moderate Cerebral Palsy and doesn’t let anything get in the way of having a full life. The Y welcomed him as an employee and as a member. He was/is always treated as fully capable and like everyone else which has boosted his confidence and overall well being. Thank you Carls Family YMCA and Andy Mac for being such a great boss and leader.

The whirlpool before and after “Water Aerobics Exercise” the jets are amazing at massaging my back and knees as I have a sciatica and knee replacements.
Also my Water Aerobics Exercise class I reserve at 9:00am, I enjoy Nancy’s classes and friends I’ve made.
In the winter I’ll most likely reserve the 11am class.
Please bring back 11am “Water Aerobics” class on FRIDAYS; that would be GREAT!
The pool and therapeutic hot tub. Lifeguards are alert and I noticed last time I was there that there is training. I do miss the physical therapist though.
My kids look forward to swim class each week! This is my girls second session and the instructors are positive and encouraging. My 10 year old is a great swimmer but is new to the swim team. Chris has been great keeping her confidence high with her learning the different strokes and learning to breathing correctly when swimming.
A medical emergency took place while I was there and I saw the efficiency at which the person was taken care of and the speed at which the medical professionals arrived on scene to take over

I love that he can swim for a bit before and after his lesson. It is like night and day now when we go swimming, and he isn’t as reliant on his puddle jumper. He has so much more confidence in the water and his teacher (cadence?) was so great and patient! Her individual feedback and advice was helpful. Thank you!!
The Y is our home away from home. From swim lessons, gym access, free class and child watch, there are a number of activities for our family to participate in. The staff are welcoming and friendly and the facility is well maintained.
