The training pool!
The people are friendly. The facility is clean and well managed.

We only work out in the gym. There are lots of choices of equipment to work with.
The best part is they always keep the gym pretty cool, but I am always sweating when I leave.
Exercise area
Love the pool classes. Also enjoy how clean it is. People who work there are very caring and nice.
The way the kids who were being taught to swim visibly gained confidence as well as learning to swim. I think ALL the people there who work with kids are the best. I told my neighbor how I felt and she said she just can't wait to get her kids involved with the YMCA.
Never crowded

Staff are knowledgeable and friendly, the facility is clean, and equipment is modern and in great condition.
However, one feature is so troubling that I am considering canceling my membership. One of the wall-mounted televisions is tuned to the Fox News channel. I believe Fox's campaign of misinformation and disinformation about the coronavirus pandemic is dangerous, and especially alarming is Fox’s anti-vaccine rhetoric.
Ultimately, I believe the Y’s airing of the Fox News channel goes against its stated mission of “… promoting healthy living, and fostering a sense of social responsibility."
I like the versatility of the classes
We come to swim. The lifeguards are nice an d actively watching, which is a big plus for me.
We do wish there was a longer swim time. It would be awesome I’d there was a homeschooler swim time during the day when the pools are usually closed.

The instructors. They are all awesome. I love coming to the Y for classes. I moved to Wixom last August, and I enjoy meeting new and friendly people at the Y. Thank you for all you do to encourage people to join the Y.

Silver sneakers participation makes it possible for me to utilize wellness center. The facility always appears clean and cared for.

The instructors have been top notch through the years. Coming to the Y isn't like coming to a gym. It is more like coming to my personal work out setting. I feel respected, valued. It is why I live in the Milford community. The Y provides a family atmosphere which is wholesome.. I appreciate the staff and the philosophy of the Y. There has been a Y in my life since the 1970's. Do I need to say more?!

The exercise plan is wonderful and the instructor is awesome, lots of fun and exercise. I have recommended the Y to three people and one has signed up already!
Good pool. I like being able to reserve a lane in the lap pool so there is not too many people. Clean lockers.
The front desk is always friendly and helpful, especially Nina and Jack.

We went to the Carls Family Y in Milford to use our Silver Sneakers Memberships. The personnel there have ALWAYS been friendly and helpful. The workout area is very complete and provides up to date equipment. They also have a variety of classes to sign up for covering various types of exercise and fitness. Although we haven't used it, the indoor pool is very nice as are the locker rooms. They also have an excellent indoor gymnasium for basketball and an area for pickle ball. We highly recommend it as a place for any type of fitness.
Friendly customer service, clean facility
It was nice to come back after covid and just pick up where I left off.Staff was as friendly and helpful as before.I certainly needed to come back,and glad I did.

Pickle ball
I haven't attended officially yet, but the walk-thru was great.
I got to see the equipment and pool and class areas and they all like very nice. Very spacious and clean.
I look forward to going to the gym and taking classes.
