Great classes.
Location close to my home. Friendly staff.
Your staff is very friendly and caring from people like Jamie, Sonjay, Barb and Ann Marie. While the facilities are clean, your focus seems to be on younger people. Those of us who are retired have been asking for more recumbent bikes. These would be easier on our old joints. But we've not seen a single new bike. The bikes that are on the second floor tend to be in need of repair often. At the earlier hours, retirees seem to be the people who are there. However, some of our age group are going else where where the bikes are available.
I love all of the classes offered at the YMCA! It is always clean.
Helpful and professional team members greet me at every visit.

Good staff, it suits my needs
The best thing about the Birmingham YMCA is the staff-specifically, my trainer, Flavia. Flavia is very knowledgeable about the structure of the body, how to build and maintain strength and flexibility, and she helps me feel confident about my fitness level.
All of the staff are friendly and welcoming when I arrive. I’m very happy with the Birmingham YMCA and hope to continue for a long time!

For me convenience, I live in Huntington Woods. However, the equipment, the great
staff and the diversity of the people that are member's. A shout out to Kennie Mitchell though.
He does a great job in representing the Y and is extremely popular with the
members and myself!!! Also, the front desk staff as you walk in are great. I don't know all the
names but Joe and Imonie (sp) come to mind.

I love the therapy pool, the people who help are always kind, and the tread mill is always available.

Pickleball players are active members. We use the hours that are allocated to us. We are year round members, not just when the weather is bad. Darlene Sandel is a pleasure to work with and a real asset to the Y.
The new egym equipment is great.
Love the lap pool even though the times avail have been lessened with lack of life guards!
Also the senior classes are filled with such supportive, wise, and diverse members .
