What do you like about our program and activities?

The kids really enjoyed meeting other kids and swimming, the medals for running and screaming, the archery, and just generally. They are having a great time and are in a great mood in the evenings. Thanks!

What do you like about our program and activities?

A great opportunity for Mason. He made new friends and was always excited to sing new songs and show me his moves. He thought it was awesome to get in the real ocean. Most importantly, he was able to keep physically active and challenged to do new things. I also was impressed with the security and attentiveness of the Y staff. Kudos to everyone!

What do you like about our program and activities?

My two kids have been LOVING Camp Spindrift and have already requested to come back next year. They’ve built strong bonds with their peers and counselors, and are learning skills they wouldn’t be able to elsewhere (hello, archery!!). As a parent, I feel reassured by the attentive staff and friendly faces I see all over camp.

My daughter absolutely loves the staff and they always know her by name when she yells out the car window to say bye to them! Everyone is lovely and the communication is great!

My daughter is having so much fun. She loves being outside. The YMCA has plenty to do at camp spindrift. And the different themes each week are super fun.

Jerry Justice is absolute master at handling special needs children, even those with severe autism like my children. The Water Wise program is truly amazing.

Great staff!! They care about your child and wellbeing. My granddaughter comes home everyday so excited about her day at camp! They keep the kids engaged and busy throughout the day.

People are friendly and there seem to be a lot of members like myself who are disabled but do the activities that they choose--in my case Aqua Zumba!

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

I just recommended Mia Leonard to join the (Gloucester) YMCA. I LOVE being a member at this gym. I only participate in the group fitness classes and have plenty of choices and options. I recently injured my achilles tendon and had to switch up my classes. There were many that I could take. I also had tremendous support from the class instructors who helped me with modifications and supported me in my workouts.

What I love most about the instructors is that they are VERY knowledgeable about the body and share which muscle groups we are working on with every exercise. They are always in a great mood and make working out so much fun. I absolutely love Cassie Carlson, Calandra Solo, Vanessa Lee, Amy Longo, and Andi Daniels.

I exclusively use your pool in Gloucester to swim laps and the pool staff is nothing short of incredible; both proffessionaly and on a personal level. They maximize the capacity of the pool at every opportunity and never neglect to say hello and share a smile. Awesome crew!
