Great staff, classes, equipment and atmosphere.
Cleanliness and variety of classes. Great pool.
It is a lovely new building, spacious, bright, clean, and open. It offers a wide array of exercise equipment, large indoor pool, a large variety of programs (at no extra cost), etc. I also like that the membership is varied with people of all ages so whether you are a youth, middle aged or a senior you fit in. 😀
It’s so nice to be able to take care of myself while knowing my kids aren’t far away and are having fun too. The kids club is a lifesaver for my sanity. :)
It's an extremely spacious, clean, and extremely welcoming facility. The atmosphere, especially on the second floor gym, is amazing. The large windows allowing all that sunlight in makes you feel energized and isn't dreary like most gyms. I do have some suggestions/request though, which a suggestion box would also be nice. As for the upstairs gym I would love it if you could add some arc trainer machines for those of us who are dealing with knee injuries. Elliptical machines aren't too great for your joints.
Also a small low climbing bouldering wall would be an amazing addition to the facility, maybe even outside? No high walls, ropes, or harnesses are needed for "bouldering" style climbing, all you need is just a quick orientation. I am a seasoned climber and could get you in touch with the right professionals to make it happen. Also climbing is one of the quickest growing sports in America right now so I'm sure a lot of your younger aged(14-30) members would probably be excited for such an addition. Thanks for having such a great facility.
It’s a welcoming friendly place. And I have fun there

The Y in Gloucester is the BEST!
Clean, organized, friendly, well equipped, sun drenched.
It's beautiful. And functional.
One strong recommendation is that all the basketball hoops should be raised to 10' prior to the daily lunch men's basketball run.
Great staff. Good programs classes
My wife & I cannot be happier the overall experience at the Rockport after school program. Jess and the whole staff are excellent! So engaging and fun for our 2nd grader who loves it. This is her third yr in the program, and our 5 year old will be attending the program when she starts kindergarten in the fall.

The staff is so friendly and they really care about all the kids. It's such a positive environment.
