Shark Whisperer Liz is a fantastic swim instructor! She multitasked with ease when it came to providing comfort, safety, and a sense of security to my son (5 yrs) who was scared during his first couple lessons while also carrying out the lesson activities for the other children. She encouraged us to take him swimming between lessons, which we did (and it helped). Liz is skilled at building confidence in swimmers and always celebrates their accomplishments when they try new elements of water safety and swimming. Her care and dedication to teaching made a positive impact on my son's desire to keep trying. In just a few weeks he went from being scared and nervous to saying he loves swimming.Thank you, Liz!
Lots of great classes and very friendly
Our instructor was fantastic, engaged, followed the curriculum, and ensured she spent time with each of the babies in the program.
all activities
Kids love their teachers and are progressing in their swim skills!
Very clean, friendly staff, machines always available, sauna!, large pool for laps, many classes offered
Reasonable cost, extensive programming offerings, facility amenities, friendly and helpful staff.
There are so many activities for our family to experience; pickleball, basketball, swim, after school programs, exercise classes!! I love that the Y promotes healthy living. We feel that the benefits far out weigh the cost of a membership.
The Y has many great fitness classes for all ages and abilities. Very suitable for multi-generational families.
The pool and locker rooms are well maintained. The staff is helpful and friendly.
There is great value in being a member of the Y. My kids are part of the daycare, they are in great hands everyday with the teachers and staff there. The facilities at the Beverly Y are beautiful, the pools, gym, locker rooms gymnastics and all the extras! The best part of the Y is the feeling of belonging.
Great classes with excellent instructors
The variety of classes offered. You can visit any y anywhere
The variety of activities it has to offer. And also, it’s cleanliness and safety environment.
Variety of programs, great lineup of group exercise,, excellent instructors, helpful employees at the front desk and in the offices, wonderful childcare space. However, I don't like the community locker room, so I'm not using the pool as I had planned. Furthermore, parking some days is a disaster - it is difficult to even get to a class on time.
I love pickleball and the variety of classes offered. I also love the Y community.
Welcoming excellent staff
Good exercise classes. Friendly atmosphere.
The fitness areas had a lot of equipment, the building was modern, and even though the locker rooms are under construction, the community shower rooms are great.
It’s very friendly. I like Scott’s aqua fitness classes and I like the sauna.
I would like this survey better if it was no compliments only. It would feel more like you cared about my answer.
Great staff, classes, beautiful facility
Friendly atmosphere, helpful front desk staff (Andrew?)
Great classes and instructors, lots of options for everyone, friendly people.
The atmosphere of staff equipment and support
There are so many great things for kids to do. My daughter has grown up going to the Y and looks forward to the Friday night fun and other activities.
What I like about the program and activities is that the staff make them fun for the kids and the kids get to see their friends and play games.
Love the group exercise classes.
Coaches are dedicated, nice, and responsive. Also, A+ on facilities. Keep up the good work.
The Beverly YMCA has a friendly atmosphere, clean building and helpful staff and amazing choice of exercise equipment.

I really like the environment and staff, they are very helpful

My daughter is 4 and has an amazing instructor who makes it fun. She always starts on time and utilizes the 45 minutes. She loves the new flotation noodle devices. I’ve seen a big improvement in just 6 lessons.
