We literally just started our membership about a week ago, but we've been meaning to for so long. We signed our daughter up for a camp and I took and exercise class, and I'm excited to have the Y in our life now!

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The facility is first class re equipment and maintenance of same, cleanliness and all other aspects of reflecting a high quality experience being offered. Staff is uniformly exceptional.

The one (and only) point of improvement would be to ensure that all gym floor staff are informed regarding the conduct expected of all members, specifically regarding the use of language. There have been recent instances of inappropriate and offensive language being used and reported to personnel who do not seem aware of this expectation.

The Greater Beverly YMCA fosters an all inclusive environment/facility where both the young and old can thrive physically, socially, and emotionally! I’ve never seen a frown or cross word from staff or members! Regardless of the activity, there’s nothing but smiles, laughter, and excitement all around! When you enter the Y you are always warmly greeted and you leave with the same warm feeling and a few new friends!

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

Welcoming, clean environment with a huge variety of sports, workouts, classes, etc. People are very friendly and helpful. Locker rooms are clean, inviting and not crowded. There are no excuses available to not get your exercise, clear your head or socialize with others throughout the many hours of use available each day.

Love playing pickleball at the Sports Center. Also like the various group classes although I wish the Yoga/Pilates studio was larger. Also wonderful to have the indoor pool.

Why are you so likely to recommend the Y?

The Y has a little bit of something for every family member. From workout classes that I love like Power Hour and Strength Train Together to the Kids Club Babysitting services. Our family also attends gymnastic classes, swim team practice and swim lessons as well as the fabulous Friday Fun Nights for elementary students. This year, they've added school vacation programming as well, giving us another option to get out of the house on long, cold winter days.

The Beverly YMCA is such a warm environment! From the front desk to the sauna and everyplace in between we feel so at home and welcomed. The staff are friendly and helpful and The facilities are clean and well maintained. Each visit reminds me of how blessed I am to be a member!

Sterling YMCA is a great place for the whole family. The facility is clean and well maintained. My family loves the kids club and youth programs. Thers is a great variety of adult fitness.
