I like that it brings the a team aspect to golf. It allows jr golfers of all skill levels to interact and learn from each other.
The opportunity for the players to practice and compete is a great tool for them. Learning to better themselves and to understand the game is what PGA Jr. League allows.

We love being able to play with friends that are different skill levels and we love the chance to play in the all-star tournament. Our coaches make it fun and try to switch things up so you are always playing with different people.
Our 7 and 9-year-olds love the teamwork, coaching, and fun in the PGA Jr. League. We are incredibly grateful for the scholarship that helps make this great experience possible for both of them

My 9 year old daughter,Mia, and her sweet friend she introduced golf to, teamed up and played together for the tournaments. They loved making new friends from the other teams and they all cheered for each other. It really showed them that a sport doesn't have to be all about competition but just enjoying their love for golf together. Ms.Aurora and Ms.Lori were amazing leaders and everything was organized well and they showed the kids how to just really enjoy the game.
I like the team format for competition and making up teams with players of different skill sets.

The format, the team feel and play. Real world golf, rewarded for good play, penalized for poor play. Great way for youngs to learn the game.

I like the number of events and the different options they offer. I like how it is divided into 3 different groups based on skill level so that kids can progress as they improve in their game

We also really like the leaders that have to put this together. It’s a lot of work to organize the league on a weekly basis.
The concept is backed by local pro’s investing in jr. golf. Our pros are wonderful. This was my grandson’s first time taking an interest at age 12. I bought him clubs, shoes, polo shirts and all the necessities. Happy to do it. He had a great time. He caught the bug and will keep playing. My only disappointment was the timelines of the PGA’s obligations. Uniform came the day after his last match. Otherwise 8.5/10. Tip of the cap to the local professionals. Support them more please.
