Team scramble format minimizes the impact of bad shoots on the kids love for competition and creates genuine shared excitement after good shoots... especially compared to other junior "go it alone" match play or stroke play formats. Is a great way to create enthusiasm for the competitive game for new developing golfers.

My son had a great time playing and now he’s addicted to the sport. Even after the season ended, he went daily to Sagamore Golf Course to improve on his skills and now has made the Varsity high school team as a freshmen. If he didn’t join the league, this would never have happened for him. We are thrilled that he played and are already looking forward to next year.

Nice way for young golfers to get out and play
My 13 year old son has been participating in this program for 4 years. He absolutely loves it. It helps to improve his golf skills, gets him playing more, he can play with kids his age, and he gets to play a variety of courses he normally would not get to play.
One thing I noticed this year was that the number of courses was much more limited this year than in past years. Playing different courses was definately a highlight of the playing in a league. He will definitely sign up next year but I hope the courses he plays on will change.

The kids get to play against other kids and clubs. it is organized and gets kids out. I wish however it went longer and more clubs were involved.
