I’m the dad. My son, who has been “around “ golf his whole life (14years). He’s been out for 9 a dozen or so times. Taken some “lessons”. He decided in spring that he wanted to play in high school. His experience with his captain, James Cook has put him in a position to compete for one of the 2 spots available on Varsity team. I only wish I knew about this 5 years ago. There would be no competition.

The PGA pro, Steve Brown, at Allendale Country Club in Dartmouth, MA was absolutely amazing with the kids who signed up for this local league team. He was so patient and supportive of all the kids. He was a good instructor providing tips as applicable and giving a good positive atmosphere. He really made the experience outstanding for the team. He should be acknowledged for his effort to support the sport of golf with a new generation and making it a good experience for the kids. The club / course also did so much supporting the league and allowing the kids to play on a beautiful course. All my son talks about now is wanting to play golf and buy new clubs/equipment all the time. Thank you.
