It's a great way to learn about teamwork and competing in a different setting than only for yourself as with many other golf tournaments. We really like US kids but this give our boys an opportunity to learn/experience golf a different way!

The format was great for my son as he had much more fun than playing individually. The league he was in had quite a few beginners. It might be better especially for kids under 13 if the matches were limited to 6 holes. We had some matches that lasted 3+ hours. Very difficult for children that age to remain focused for that long.
The program was well run and helped introduce the game and rules of golf to my son.
I like that the children have to learn to work together. They have to learn the rules and etiquette of being on a golf course and respectfully wait their turn, then cheer each other on. They have a ton of fun! We also love our director Brent Reneau at Waterford Golf Course, he is fantastic!
