Coach Sheldon is supportive, encouraging, and he really help the kids build confidence in their golf skills. It was my daughter's first time doing golf and she's been having fun.
The juniors feel comfortable in the setting. Yes there is still competition, but they have fun as well. Just an over all great experience for the juniors as well for the parents.
It is a great experience for kids to get out to different golf courses, actual competitive golf play, learn good sportsmanship on a professional level and meet other golfers their age in the community.

Everything. Meeting new kids every season, watching my previous kids show progression, watching all the kids grow. It is an enjoyable experience every class with them. Some kids come and some kids go, but it is a neverending growth for myself as an instructor to guide them while they are here.
The PGA Junior League is a great way to encourage kids to work together as a team. It builds great character on the course. It’s also a great way to get feedback as an instructor as to what the kids need to learn (i.e. bunker play, odd lies, club selection etc.) Lastly having parents on the course as spectators gives the kids a family-oriented environment.

The coaches did a great job working with the participants and rotating the pairings to give each child an opportunity play with partners of various skills. The participants had a lot of fun and enjoyed the opportunity to compete.

Coach Kellie Hines at The Ocean Course at Hōkūala on Kauai has been a wonderful mentor and coach to our son! She runs her PGA Jr. League well! Although our son has aged out of the program, he enjoyed every event he played in.
