Great coaching, play with friends, good introduction to golf, low pressure for newbies.
The staff and all the people associated with the program have been great.
PGA Jr. League creates opportunities for children to practice playing golf with each other together. They have fun for sure!
PGA JR. League was a fun and competitive golf environment. And my son made a lot of friends.
I like how the kids have to opportunity to grow in the game. Able to have fun, make friends, and play on a team.
I like the coach and his attention to detail. My son went from knowing nothing about golf to understanding and enjoying playing the game.
Thank you Coach.
Learned a lot about golf rules and play, but it was fun.
Great coach, venue, uniforms, communication, knowledgeable feedback from practice evaluation. Just a great program altogether for the kids and parents!!!👍🤙
Thank you so much for everything!!
It was my second one, lots of fun. One item where we could improve is the coaches availability, some courses had the coach more involved than others and provided excellent guidance to the kids (and parents).
great experience for younger, less accomplished Jr. Golfers. But for more experienced and talented kids, this isn't the best fit for them. However, for the total price it's a great opportunity to get some good practice in, even if you are a solid golfer. Definitely saves money for the players who need more time on the range and the course.
Watching the kids play and having fun, but yet compete in a team sport.
All of it!
1. Playing second chances or best ball.
2.playing game as a team concept.
3. Visiting other private golf courses.
4. Team uniform and gifts.
5. Great team coach.
6. Meeting different age groups of golf friends.
Great experience
We love the coaches and the opportunity this league provides for our son.
It’s a wonderful program. To play a solitary sport as a team is always a win for our kids. The friendships forged and sportsmanship lessons are lifelong.
Great learning experience about game of golf and team play.
Organized and very fun!
It was such a fun and positive league. My son was looking forward to it every time.
Hopefully you can find someone to replace Renee. We are
Missing her dearly.
We like how our son feels like he is on a team and competing.
One of the things that I liked about the PGA Jr. League, is that the beautiful courses that the children got to play on. It was a privilege to be able to play on different golf courses to understand the difficulty and the speed of the green but most of all the beauty of the courses.
One thing that I know my son enjoyed this year was being paired with a positive fellow golfer
and how they both learned to help each other get win and getting out of situations. I like how they worked well together and learned to adjust, they did good.
Finally, the best thing that the children and parents can have is a coach that takes the time to teach, correct, and show a lot of support. Our coach Lee Sakugawa has been so positive. He would always share with the parents, the adjustments and improvements that our children has made. He would give us tips on what our children should do at home to practice, on correcting adjustments. He really took care of the children, and really wanted them to learn the game and enjoy it. You can tell he loves the game, and he would love for the game to continue on in our children and in the future.
Thank you for letting our children feel special, because they did. Aloha.
Team play
We were able to participate because of the generous offering to students on reduced/free lunch at the public school. The staff and coaches at each tournament were considerate and kind. It was the kids first time at golf and the had an enjoyable experience. Thanks again.
Chance for children to play in a ream setting and make new friends
Teach team play and ethics
Great introduction to the golf course. No pressure, due to the scramble format. Team aspect is great.
Would love a more competitive venue for the older kids (scramble format, but tee off from the Men’s tees) would be great!
My son was able to enjoy some fresh air, golf on beautiful courses, play with all sorts of talent and I enjoyed caddying for him. The mixture of practice then a tournament was enjoyable too.
