Love this program! This was our first season and we are super excited to come back again next season. Coaches were great and the kids had so much fun! Highly recommend!
I loved that my child was able to try a new sport with little pressure. McKell did such a good job of putting teams together each week so no one felt like the weak link and everyone could experience success. My favorite thing about it was that there was low committment, meaning if we were out of town, it was not a big deal to miss a practice or a scramble. Summers are so busy and that makes it difficult to commit to a summer sport. This was perfect!

We love Jr. League at FLC. two quick recommendations:
1. It would be nice to have golf carts for all parents if possible.
2. Pace of play seems to be an issue. Obviously there are kids learning and growing and also different age groups. If we can open up the whole course, I think it would be beneficial to everyone and make it so that these teams can compete with 3 full 3 hole matches.
Otherwise, this is a wonderful opportunitiy for everyone involved. Keep up the great work.

It teaches the kids to be independent and play independent. It strengthens their team skills and sportsmanship
Lots of affordable playing time for the kids. The course and instructors are very accomadating along with flexible scheduling.
It's a GREAT starting point for young golfers. I've had 3 boys participate in the PGA Jr. league, so have been a participant for the last 10 years. I tell a lot of friends that it's a fun, yet informative place for their kids to start playing competitive golf. It's fun because it's a team format and you are playing with a team mate as well, instead of on your own. The key is having the right coaches and friends that play long with you. In my opinion, this league...until it goes to the post season, should be more about fun, encouragement (of both teams) and even limited instruction during regular season matches. Thanks for making it possible. It's been a GREAT ride with a ton of GREAT memories for all 3 of my boys!
Enjoyed the coaching and teamwork. Everything was well organized and the kids not only enjoyed the play but also learned a lot about the tradition and culture of the game.

Our child had a great time. Loved the laid back atmosphere and allowing the parents to come along was great.
The coaches did a wonderful job helping educate my son on the different clubs and why to use them. The knowledge helped him on the course when it came to his matches. Wonderful atmosphere and overall experience. We'll be doing it again for sure!
Really enjoyed the kids learning more about the game of golf and what competition is like at at young age. Being able to compete and apply their skills and what they learn and apply it to competition. I think that it really gives the kids the tools to excel in the game and feel the pressure and have fun doing it.
It's a tremendous program with awesome opportunities for all of the kids. Logan and Kevin, do a great job. So happy you have this opportunity in northern Michigan.
