I loved the opportunity my son had to be exposed to a new sport, which he has since adopted as his own. We're not getting private lessons for him because he loved it so much.
I appreciated the quality of all we received for the money - the jerseys, bag, hat, etc. It felt like a professionally run program (which it was!).
The one thing I didn't love, or wished was better, in our local program was the instruction during practice. I felt like the coaches just kind of told the kids "we're driving" and let them at it. There wasn't nearly as much instruction on how to hold the club, swing, and make improvements as I would have hoped for.
my girls love the tournaments
PGA Jr League is very important for youngsters learning golf. I like that the League help the students learn more information on golf and encourage them to dream big to do their best.
I cannot put into words just how special this program has been for my son, and has really accelerated his love for the game of golf. This was our first year in the program. I was amazed at what this program offered young people - from the phenomenal golf courses, excellent coaches/staff, and just the opportunity for them to learn about the game is incredible. We look forward to continue participating in this league and I will absolutely recommend this to any others. Great job and amazing league!!
Great way to get the kids involved at an early age
The whole program is just wonderful for kids to learn how to play and improve their skills. The courses they get to play and our Coach/Instructor Mike Greer has been awesome. The price is also quite reasonable. If you're on fence go for it and don’t think twice.

Good way to introduce young kids to the sport and opportunities to play on different courses. Less pressure format when competing.
Lots of help from lots of people. Good for the kids to get out, see other players and courses and learn how to play competitive golf while learning the the social, growth and sportsmanship opportunities that come with tournament golf.

Fantastic coaching
That they got to play scramble with kids close to each other's ages. Learned the rules of golfing and put it to practice. Getting to compete with other local groups. They really liked the shirts and caps with the PGA Jr logo.
The kids enjoy playing. They just wish the season was longer.
My son absolutely loved PGA Jr Golf! The friendships he made, the skills he developed to help make him a better golfer was excellent! The program was very organized!!
