It gives kids who are interested in golf an opportunity for instruction from a PGA pro and an opportunity to play golf several more times during the summer than I, as a golfing parent, have time to provide them. Our young golfer can still get in play and practice with the non-golfing parent providing transport.
It also gives kids the opportunity to play on several different courses through the summer.

I think the new format this year with less holes for the younger kids was excellent. Have you considered moving the Saturday Skill Sessions to the Sunday before the competition rounds. This way it doesn't chew up both weekend days for the kids and parents. Just a thought.

Instruction, communication and format
I thought it was a good program. Kids had a lot of fun without a lot of pressure on scoring. So it was good
One thing I would rather do, is start earlier in the morning so that I could go to it and then get back home for work more quickly, especially with our group of teams. We were only about an hour from home, even at the farthest hour and 1/2 So earlier starts and earlier finishes would be better with the heat as well.
Cory Brooks and his Team provided my daughter with new techniques that refined her overall skills. We plan on continuing with this program after swim season if schedule permits.

It gives kids who would not normally be introduced to golf an opportunity to play. It builds manners, patience, and etiquette in a child which is hard to come by these days.

It was a great opportunity for our child to play more golf and to experience the pressure of playing in a competition.
What we like most about PGA Jr. League is that it makes golf fun, social, and competitive for the kids. First name removed really enjoyed being part of a team, making new friends, and having the opportunity to play alongside other kids while continuing to develop his golf skills. We also loved the positive and encouraging environment and the way the program builds confidence while teaching good sportsmanship and teamwork. It’s been a great way for him to enjoy the game and stay excited about golf.
