PGA Jr. League is well run by everyone at HQ. I always have a helpful rep at the section level and I've worked a Jr League program in 3 sections; Northern Texas, Metropolitan, and Southern California. Even at the golf pro level, the professionals running their team leagues are well involved and care about the programs.
The best part about the program is the quickness of uniform order fulfillment. The kids love the uniforms too.
I like that PGA Jr. League makes golf feel like a team sport while still helping each junior develop individually. The two-person scramble format allows players of different skill levels to contribute, build confidence, learn sportsmanship and experience competition without placing all the pressure on one player.
As a PGA Coach, I especially value the friendships and sense of belonging it creates. Kids practice together, encourage one another and learn that golf can be fun, social and competitive at the same time. Most importantly, PGA Jr. League gives us an opportunity to help young players develop a genuine connection with the game and, hopefully, become golfers for life.
What I really like about PGA Jr. League is that it creates a team environment in a sport that’s usually individual. It gives kids the chance to learn and grow together, build friendships, and enjoy the game in a fun, supportive setting. The scramble format makes competition less intimidating, so players can experience tournament-style pressure while still having their teammates by their side. It’s also an incredible way to introduce young golfers to the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and confidence, all while developing their skills on the course.
All that it provides for kids, families, and coaches. Fun competition for the kids, families love watching their kids play, and satisfying for the coaches.

Everyone should be doing junior league. It’s a common practice in our industry.
It's the best program I've seen from taking kids who are just dabbling in golf to getting on the course to play. It's incredibly fun and uplifting and the parents can be a part of the experience as well which is awesome. It's one of the rare times I get to actually watch my players play golf.

Great opportunity for golfers to really get into the game competitively while not having the added pressure of tournament golf solely on their shoulders. The team aspect gets the kids involved and gives them an opportunity to make friends so they can play golf year round.
The juniors and parents love the team format. I love to get the juniors out playing, the scramble/match play/flags allows me to get more juniors playing on the course and getting around 9 holes.

PGA Junior League is great for the kids looking to learn the game. Not to stressful and very reasonable in price. A great way to learn the game and get instructional help from PGA Members.
