Watching the kids get better at golf and the rules.
Kids love it, great entry level into competition, they love the team fun. The combination of scramble, match play and 'flags' every three holes is an even less pressured way to help kids enter have a first experience with competition without feeling too much stress and pressure. If they don't perform against highly competitive juniors they may quit golf.
The website and support system from the PGA and the regional reps (my SCPGA section office, Nikki Gatch and Junko Suzuki) is also critical and is 100% professional.

The PGA Jr. League is awesome. I am the Captain (first year) of my team (Marbella Masters) and the nine players on our team were amazing this year. The parents were equally amazing supporting me and the team in anyway.

PGA Jr. League has been a great addition to our junior golf program. It has help provide an opportunity for kids of all skill levels to learn and grow while having fun with their friends. PGA Jr. League is now a huge part of the overall success of our player development program.
I have now been part of a coaching staff for the last 3 years. The way the PGA Junior program have worked for bringing new kids into the game, is phenomenal. It is great how kids of all levels can all be part of something. In my mind we have needed something like this for a while. The PGA Junior league has given us the vessel to help provide and bring the game to everyone.
The program, I feel works and is something that hopefully will build our game and also give us more PGA professionals.
Allows juniors of all abilities to get into the game and all play together. It encourages juniors to play multiple times a week like all other competing sports. The scramble portion also allows for comfortable yet competitive play.
It allows players of ALL abilities to compete in a fun, relaxed, competitive environment ...especially at the local level!
