I really like the options for the pool. I really cannot do much with the exercise equipment. I like the fact I can come and go as I please.
Y programs have convenient times and interesting activities that are geared for all ages and abilities. The Y makes an effort to keep participants safe. I'm especially impressed by the cleaning staff.
The pool is fantastic and great for small children
Thoroughly enjoyed the Senior Wellness event in conjunction with University Hospitals. Event was well organized and vendors provided relevant information. Since I don't live in Geauga county, it is not convenient for me to regularly participate in activities at this YMCA
All people come together and get involved!
The programs are fantastic and good for you
I mainly work out in the gym! That is all.
The freedom to try all the equipment.
Like the water classes, silver sneakers classes& pickle ball,
Pickel Ball
The Silver Sneakers instructors make exercise so much fun and beneficial for our
bodies. They play upbeat music which keeps us motivated to keep moving.I'm sure
that I wouldn't be able to do the things I do if it wasn't for the strength and balance
and cardio classes. The bus trips are always fun, having group lunches at miscellaneous
restaurants and programs at the Y are enjoyable also.
Variety, friendly members and staff
We love this place esp the pool!
Love the instructors! Melanie & Joy are the best! They make exercising fun.
Love the classes and the instructors! Great place to work out.
The program I attended what was age appropriate and very informative. The staff were extremely cordial. The facility was spotless.
I love all the Water Classes and lap swimming. I wish there was more water classes especially Aqua Zumba this is a big hit at many other Y pools in many States, its a huge hit with men and women of all ages! This could be taught in the lazy river for it requires a shallow level floor. Many adults who can not dance out of the water really enjoy this for they can still move and enjoy the music. It's just amazing to see people light up when the music comes on and it brings back so many memories for all. I really enjoy the Silver Sneakers Classes great format. Wish their was more in the weight room or their maybe and I'm not aware of it. Most of all I enjoy and cherish the AOA program and trips and luncheons! Being new to Ohio this was a fabulous way for me to see what your lovely state has to offer. Plus meet new people at the same time! I've been active in other states Y programs but this is above the best. I really appreciate the care Diane puts into her programs and the well thought out and timed. She's always looking out for each and everyone and always has water and snacks for all. I plan on attending every trip possible I so enjoyed them all. Just another thought it would be a nice addition to the Y a Book Club that's held at the Y. I belong to the Aquanuts book club which I enjoy greatly but they can only be so big and others at our Y would live to be apart of one. Just a thought for the table.
Love group exercise classes

I use the fitness center 3 times a week and everyone is friendly and the building is clean.

Great Place
Diane who is friendly, helpful, cheerful finds interesting activities for seniors
Melanie and Sue energetic, talented, friendly great exercise programs
Facility kept clean and comfortable
Note: many of the tired and worn chairs need to be replaced
I just use the gym and machines, it is a good place because people of all types utilize it, speaking from my own situation, I can honestly say no reason to be self conscious there, best thing about it, really.
Swimming and hot tub
The personal call from Diane suggesting programs I might try was unexpected and very helpful.
Programs are very well run and the topics and subjects are widespread.
I used to like the variety in programs and their availability. Now everything is so limited and hardly anything is during times I can attend.

The AOA activities and Pickleball.
