The Geauga "Y" is my social life. I like Melanie's Class on Tuesday's, and Sue's class on Thursday's. It sure beat's sitting around the house doing a whole "bunch of nothing!"

I just had the assessment done today and love knowing what I need to work on. I haven’t had the chance to take many classes yet other than the water workouts. I am pleased with those. I signed up to learn how to properly use the equipment which I am certain will help. I used a few already and am pleased with the progress in a short time. I am looking forward to taking a personal class with Kathy when I can work her in to my schedule.
The YMCA in Chardon is a place ALL Seniors Must join. If you lose your arm and leg strength from sitting this winter you will slip into a sentry way of live. Northing will get easier the longer you don’t use your muscles. You can walk in the pool or on a treadmill. You can sit on a bike with a good book and Pedal 2 miles.. People are so welcoming and friendly! Classes are well taught and there is a good assortment of types of classes for all levels of fitness!
Pickleball and Pool/Hot tub
I like the variety of exercise opportunities that are offered. I also enjoy the AOA activities such as the bus trips. The staff is friendly and helpful. I'm glad that I live close to the Y!
