Good selection of programs at favorable times with friendly staff
I like all pool classes and water aerobics and Volleyball. I like the AOA program and trips just wish more were under $100 not almost $200 if they were less I would do all of them that I was avaliable to attend.
We have the freedom to sign up and also give feedback.

Gym has enough equipment
Everyone who I have met who works at the Y has an unexcelled level of positivity and helpfulness. It makes coming in to work on one's health and fitness goals so much easier.
After having been a member of the Y for many years ( my father gave golf classes at our local Y in Warren, Ohio for 30 years), our branch closed because of the failing ecomomy in our region. After having moved recently to the area, I found the opportunity to participate again in membership in the Y. I have belonged to a couple of private gyms subsequently, and they cannot compare to the Y's positive community spirit, especially in the helpfulness towards building fitness and character in children. The universal iniative to teach children to swiim saves countess lives every year, and is the only one of its kind. I count my summer camp experiences at Camp Fitch through the Youngstown YMCA as some of my most memorable childhood experiences. After reconnecting with the YMCA recently, I realize what a positive impact my experiences with the YMCA had on my life growing up, and how important it is to maintain it as a community organization. It isn't only about physical fitness, but that is an incredibly important aspect in today's society - now, more than ever for individual health. Especially with the emphasis on sitting in front of a computer all day as a route to sucess. The increasing rate of obesity each year and its attendant health problems is one of the most serious threats facing people, and especially children, today. Emphasizing exceptional achievements in physical fitness, the way the Y does through its programs, is now more important than ever.
I like the exercise activities for myself. Exercise is good for you.

Equipment is state of the art. Trainers are very helpful and knowledgable. Facility is neat and clean.
I love the pool and the temperature regulation the kids area is awesome and then the hot tub for myself was nice and hot and clean . Staff was nice. Great time

The camp was very well organized. All of the staff was enthusiastic and energetic and the kids had a ton of fun. It was also very affordable for parents and the flexible drop-off and pick-up times were helpful.
