The YMCA Specialty camps, specifically Sports and Arts, have kept my children excited about Summer Camp all summer. The counselors are wonderfully and truly appreciate that the focus on core values such as responsibility, respect, and teamwork. Definitely a program that I have and will continue to recommend.
I like the convenience of the YMCA French Creek's location most of all.

Literally one of the reasons we moved to avon lake was to be near to this program. Our kids LOVE the camp and the counselors. They do an amazing job of helping g the kids learn and grow, and I appreciate the emphasis they put on living the Y values . We could not be happier!

My husband and I primarily use the water aerobics classes led by Gayle. My granddaughter has attended 3 of the specialty summer camps and had a wonderful time.
The counselors seem to know my child and have a great rapport during pickup and drop off interactions.
So much fun! The counselors really go above and beyond to make camp special and fun.

Communication was excellent, easily the best communication of all the camps my son did this summer. Ribbons were a big hit. Loved getting time in the pool and at the Crushers stadium. Thank you, will be back next year!

My son loves the sports camp so much. He often gets mad at me for picking him up too early when he's in the middle of playing a game! I love the organization and how friendly the camp leaders are. I know my son is in good hands while there.

Both my kids are happy, likes camp, looks forward to it, is making friends, and has positive experiences. Councilors know kids by name and are encouraging. They love getting ribbons. They come home exhausted. Pickup and drop-off is easy. It's our first year and we'll be back again next year.

Very friendly. Explained ever detail of the trip we went on. We went to Hale Farm and was very disappointed. There wasn’t any demonstrations and no people to talk to ask questions. They were preparing for the next day. A motorcycle group was setting up and the sign they had up was Death. That was unnerving actually I think the people in that trip should be reimbursed for the Hale Farm part of the trip. Name removed
