I really enjoyed my visit to the Houston Texans Y. It was my first time. The facility is nice and the equipment, as well.
Useful and beneficial.
I think it is a great facility, close to where I live. The staff is very friendly; the building and equipment is well maintained. I mainly use the weight/cardio room and like the selection of machines. The only request I would have is to add at least one working spin bike to the weight/cardio room. The one in the room at this time can be ridden but the clock/digital read out does not work. Having a clock/digital readout is super helpful and managing your workout on the bike.
Again, thanks for your asking and running a great facility.
Always nice and clean environment
Staff is very helpful and friendly
I love this Y!
I work primarily on the equipment but the other programs for children, etc appear to be great!
I like that the facilities are not too crowded. I love the night time Yoga and Zumba classes.
"It's fun to play at the Y.M.C.A."! I've been a member over two years and there has never been a day that I haven't enjoyed myself. As you can see from my profile, I'm there at least 3-4 times a week. I love the gym, attending the DASH class, and line dancing. The staff is awesome, but I want to give special thanks to Victoria Peterson. You can tell she has passion for what she does, serving the seniors and community.
A variety of programs were offered this past year that helped to keep us engaged. I felt like I had quality programming offered and I made the choice to attend in person or engage via Zoom.

Convenience
There's could be better if the membership price was cheaper.
Great energy and awesome instructors there to make a connection and keep you healthy
The instructors of the work out classes are truly amazing
I like the exercise equipment. too bad TV's don't always work AND the closed captioning.
Community oriented
You guys are getting back up and running. Just give it some time people are slowly coming back. I had to get use to the new hours. I still love my Texan YMCA
Friendly staff who truly loves our community!
I like the line dance classes. I enjoy going to the gym to work out when it’s not crowded. Also, there need to be more activities/programs for seniors. Whatever happened to the Active Older Adults (AOA) program?
