I want to give a shout out to Angie who is covering the early morning shift at the Branch Crossing YMCA while Amy is on vacation. Angie always has a big smile and does something unusual when members check--in which is actually calling them by their first name! Now she doesn't know me from Adam but what a novel idea...it's a really nice touch in addition to saying "good morning," "welcome," or whatever the greeting is.
I really enjoy the environment at the YMCA and the free coffee is excellent and appreciated! The only suggestion I have is to arrange the layout in the main gym to include a stretching area. As of now, I do my stretching behind the elliptical machines next to the window which is narrow and gets in the way of other members.
The pool where I do physical therapy.
Variety. Helpful staff.
variety and good instructors
Instructors for body flow/balance and yoga
I wish that when there are subs for classes, they actually know the type of class they are subbing for. There have been several times where the class is a Forever Well class but we are still very active. So many times the subs think we are 105 years old and run the class that way. Know what your subbing for is all I ask
It has given me a chance to drop some weight, firm up and build my strength.
The facilities are top notch , and the yoga đ§ââïž instructors are great !!!

Close to home. âSilver Slippersâ program. Cleanliness. Friendly staff.
I love the variety of classes and the instructors! And I love that I have the option to bring my kids with me and that they have a place to stay and have fun while Iâm exercising.
Well maintained, adequate number of cardio machines balanced with weight machines.
Knowledgeable instructors, clean facilities, community atmosphere
Jaime Mares is the absolute BEST Spin instructor in the history of Houston area YMCAâs. Get fifteen more like him for various classes and your membership would increase by 40+%âŠ.even though your dies for elderly went up drastically.
I like the classes very much. There is one class that is very crowded, I wish they could do something about that. I've seen many people try to get it but there is no room left. The class is Pilates. I also believe that she is the only teacher, I could be wrong about that. Not sure.
So many working classes to choose from sndc
Bright classrooms with mirrors. Forever Well Combo
I like using the sauna and other exercises
I started visiting Branch Crossing YMCA 8 years ago due to my doctorâs strong recommendation to offset a medical condition. It greatly helped so I started visiting 5-6 days every week. It has become a habit for me that I hope I never break. I love the staff and have even made a few friends in the wellness center.
Friendly, easy way to exercise and feel comfortable
I love the Silver Sneakers class. It is exactly the exercise I need.
