Programs and excellent! Some are family oriented, others bring adults together for health and fitness, and we love the youth sports! Perry YMCA is where it's at!

The class has helped me back issues to the point I don't have to take medications any more.
I can't say enough about my instructor, Denise. She is knowledgeable, very alert to how we are executing our positions (which is very important, especially for seniors) and caring.
I have recommended this class to several friends.
My only complaint is the class is only 2 days a week. It would be even more beneficial for all of us if we could have an additional class each week.
Perry Y has a lot of friendly staff who maintain a clean and safe environment to work out, knowledgeable, energetic instructors/trainers who push you to be your best, and classes throughout the day to meet diverse schedules.
I feel as been with family. I see only friendly people there and have very many good friends there.6

I only use the exercise room. I would suggest considering more recumbent bikes as the membership ages. I have lower back issues and my doctor says using the recumbent bikes are a good way to exercise without stressing the lower back as much as an upright bike or the treadmills would. These machines seem always to be in use by older members.
Variety of programs at the Perry Y for young and old. AOA and Silver Sneakers’ instructors are the best.
Facilities are always clean and all of the employees are friendly and helpful. We love the children’s area; they always make my kids feel welcome and they have fun!
While my wife and I do not participate in your general exercise programs we think they are very beneficial to offer. We also like the fact that you have a wide variety of machines on which to exercise. Primarily, we use the treadmills and a few arm exercise machines. In regards to the treadmills the gym could use a few more, since we occasionally have to wait for one to become vacant. One of them has been broken for several weeks, so it would help with the waiting line to get it repaired soon.
I love the silver sneakers aerobic and yoga classes! The instructors are very knowledgeable, friendly, and make it fun.
I use the gym for light exercising only. I find the facilities meet my needs completely. It is well-organized and especially well-maintained.
I like that there are a variety of group classes available and that child care is available. The family pool is amazing and the lobby has plenty of seating if you just want to hang out/ read. The facility is very large and it never feels cramped even though many people attend. I also find that it’s kept very clean.
This YMCA is so family-friendly. The child watch service is a godsend for parents, especially of young children, who want to take group classes or work out. The facility itself is always clean with excellent amenities; the staff is friendly and knowledgeable; it's easy to register for things. I have loved the Summer Camp for my boys, ages 8 and 5. The swim instruction/safety that's incorporated into the camp activities is so great. And the swim lessons for the kids that I signed up for have also been fantastic. I have nothing but positive things to say about all of the programs and activities offered at Perry.
The classes I attend. Meeting people who have similar needs like myself and with whom I can keep pace. Teachers who understand our needs and respond respectfully.
I love the classes and the weight room. We have been members since 2012 and plan to continue for many years. The Perry Y is friendly, clean, and very welcoming.

I love going to all of the group exercise classes! The instructors are all really nice and help me focus on having a great workout with great form. I genuinely look forward to going to each class.
