I really like the gym. My children attend swimming classes but maybe I will have to change them because in ymca it is very messy, they do not advance in classes, every week is a different teacher and there are a lot of children for a single teacher. It's a shame because I like the gym a lot but as for swimming lessons they need to improve a lot. A lot of disorganization.

Location. Low impact cardio classes. Outdoor pool in the summer. Activities for kids in the summer.
Fabulous instructors, friendly staff, clean facilities. The Y is a family-oriented organization that is not threatening. I feel safe and enjoy the friendship of others who have the same goals as I do in maintaining a healthy lifestyle.

I love the fact that there are classes throughout the day and a wide variety.
The facility is clean. I love the clean restrooms and showers. The classes are easy to register for. The instructors are likable and know their stuff. The lifeguards are also very personable and polite.
I would like for the pool to be cleaner. Often there are insects in the pool. One day there was a cockroach floating on top of the water and one at the bottom of the pool. I think the pool should be skimmed every couple of hours because insects will fly in. Also, the deck could be cleaner.
I've provided this feedback before, but getting an orientation after joining would have been very helpful. At least a tour of the facilities, equipment, etc. The basics. I'm happy but do not always feel like I'm not getting the most out of my membership. It's expensive to only use the treadmill and elliptical. I'd like to take advantage of more offerings, but do not feel comfortable. It took me forever to just locate the locker room. It's funny to me that the Y keeps asking for feedback. Does anyone read it or make any changes? Maybe this will help someone in the future.
