The instructors are great. What I love more is the YMCA is a family. We care about each other. We look out for each other. We’ve made friends in our classes. We don’t go there just to work out. We go there to work out with our friends and see our friends. We go out to eat with each other sometimes. There are class Facebook groups. I moved to Utah a few months ago and I miss this family. I still keep up with them through the Facebook groups. I was in town 2 weeks ago and went and to work out at a couple classes. They were so happy to see me and it was like I never left. My new gym isn’t like that. Even the workers in the machine room get to know you. The staff when you walk in are so friendly. I don’t have that here. You don’t find this at too many other gyms.

The variety of classes offered and the facilities are excellent.
I only swim laps in the pool early in the morning. Everyone is always nice. The facilities are always clean and comfortable.
I enjoy the water exercise. And the other building I like those classes over there and finally got my mom to join so she goes with me on the classes at that other building I’ve really done a whole lot better since I started the water exercise.With Eating the right foods and doing the exercises in the water I’ve already lost 30 pounds

That you have something for everyone
Classes and instructors are great but classrooms A and B need a full compliment of heavy weights (10, 12, 16 lb) weights for EACH room! We are constantly having to go back and forth between rooms to get the weights we need. Frequently this delays the start of class and interrupts the class going on in the other room.

When I took a tour, I was very surprised that there is more equipment than at all the gyms I have had memberships with. Then, I saw the classes that are available and it was the icing on the cake. I haven’t taken any yet but I am anxious to try yoga and pilates. It is a family environment with anything you would want for your health and well being. The indoor pool is a bonus!

The coaches our young children have had are patient as they teach. The boys are enjoying each sport they’ve been a part of.

They are very well advertised and organized. Plus, the facility is spacious and all the exercise equipment is laid out with room for everyone to work out without feeling crowded.
Great instructors . Clean workout machines.
Only negative is the pool is not kept at a stead temp for workout classes.
Personal training. Easy to sort out and make happen. Also, the TechnoGym ergonomic treadmill is spectacular!

Everyone at the Y is very friendly and helpful. There are so many different ways to work out, and the hours are really convenient. Other gyms are much more expensive, and don't have near the variety or workouts you can find at the Y. Great value, great people!
