Pickleball
The different classes and schedule, the family atmosphere.
I enjoy the variety of exercise programs offered at the Y. At first I was disappointed that some of the programs would be at the alternative site but now appreciate them due to efficiency and available parking.
As a senior member, I have been disappointed in two programs offered. In the past the bus trips were a lot of fun with a variety of trips. Now they seem to be repeated trips with very few new places.
We are also missing the book exchange program.
The Active Older Adult luncheons have become a joke. The pot luck meals were fun and most enjoyable. Now that the person in charge relies only on sponsored luncheons, they are boring, regimented, and the food is either the same every time, or it is poor. The last hot dog/hamburger meal was a joke with no condiments for the food and no implements to use for the limited offering (mayo, Mustard, pickles). In the past, everyone was encouraged to visit and have fun with other members. Now we are lectured on behavior like children.
Last of all, there should be a variety of speakers instead of only have physicians. Topics like senior citizen scams, safety for seniors, downsizing are some examples.
Great group exercise instructors, amazing childcare.
The scheduling works really well for me and the trainers are the best of my experience.

I love this YMCA, the people, instructors and the new facility are all great. They have a wide variety of group exercise classes to fit every fitness level and the instructors are so supportive and helpful. It’s a great place

I wish there were more morning Pilate classes. There needs to be Yoga classes taught by certified trained Yoga instructors. I go to a yoga studio several times a week to take Yoga and several of my friends at the Y do the same. It would be nice if you could recruit from a Yoga studio.

Very friendly staff.
Variety, posted schedules, cleanliness, well-planned spacious areas, comfortable sitting areas, drink/snack machine. Yoga rooms could be larger. Missing the sauna--lots of recent news about health benefits of saunas and heat...arthritis, alzheimers, healing and wellness.
Space and openness. Not too crowded.
So many options for a good workout. Great community of staff and members.
