Personal training with Shelley Flom.
Really just use the machines but have also attended classes in the past. The gym is clean, well organized and the Y employees are friendly, helpful and always available to help or offer suggestions regarding the proper way to use the equipment.
Its a great place to work out.
Thanks to all!
Variety of classes. Accessibility. Instructors.
So glad that programs are opening up again. Miss the informative special events, but assume they will be returning.
I feel very comfortable taking every class at my own pace. And it has been very beneficial to me.
Friendly staff, convenient location, variety of classes and times, excellent aquatic facility, clean, well managed! I always look forward to Y time at Trotter.
I love the classes that are offered, especially the Les Mills ones.
Variety of classes
Very good instructors
Group exercise classes are excellent. Compétent and fun instructors, and good variety of classes.
Great selections
I love everything about Trotter except your web page.. it is confusing and not easy to use
Variety of programs and activities for seniors.
I love the water aerobic class. I wish there were classes on more days.
I do miss the stationary bikes you used to have that were a cross between the upright and the recumbent. You now have 1 and before you had about 4.
So many classes to choose from. Great staff!
Large exercise room with machines and cardio equipment. Also love the pool and spin classes.
I really enjoy the Les Mills Tone Class! It’s only available once a week in the morning, although it is taught late afternoon/early evening on a couple of other days. I wish the Y would schedule another morning Tone class like it once did before the Pandemic! It is a GREAT all around workout! I’m missing my Tone!
Great instructors, classes and activities for seniors.
Glad your pool is fixed.
Great atmosphere, energy, availability in times and great instructors
Very varied. BUT:
1.Yoga classes too cold, traditionally done in warm room, certainly not VERY cold. And Yoga teacher sometimes also allows fans, even if only one person requests it.
2.A/C needs better method of adjusting all over the building.
3. Pickleball signup only allows 4 people. So that when people sign up and don't cancel there's no way of knowing that. Y should notify non-cancellors, so they dont keep doing it.
4. New floor in Great Room is not good. Needs fixing in some places.
I love the YMCA because they're designed to the whole family
Some good instructors in Yoga. Good Pool, well maintained. Its abetter day when the steam room is steaming.Well behaved members.
I enjoy working out. My personal trainer has help me out a lot.
The stretch exercise class Tues. mornings at 9:45 AM. The mah-jongg class I signed up for.
Instructors are great. Well planned out classes Flexible withpeople with differing skills and abilities. Friendly helpful respectful.
Senior fitness classes, rest and restore and stretch.
All I’ve ever done is swim for almost 30 years. I love the year round outdoor pool! I swam
at Weekley during maintenance. Trotter is so much nicer. It’s very difficult to find a pool in the Dallas area to swim in during the winter. I had no idea how spoiled that I was.
The whole building is clean, up to date, organized with many high class people who come to stay informed and healthy. The classes are extraordinary with excellent instructors and friendly participants. It is a super way to see nice people and exercise.

Pickleball

The pool and Craig's caring for it, and the programs and teaching lessons.
Laura Williams classes, all of them.
The yoga classes at 8:30 and the instructors.
The sauna when it is working right.
The 3 'tall' women's showers when they have pressure and hot water.
The front desk staff, as they handle a lot with smiles.
Branco - as he is always happy to see all and is responsive to needs.
The parking garage.
I have a passion for the garden, as it is a jewel for Trotter. I have volunteered 10+ hrs in it almost every week since I learned about it (was not shown it when I joined in May '20; saw it months later). But my feelings for it have been waning since November.
