I make use of the basketball courts. It has and still is where my friends and I meet each Friday afternoon.
I just visited the facilities some days ago and took a class with Julia B
And went to see pool etc etc
Premises look great
Women’s lockers are really nice and all amenities are top of the line.
Great to also have a 2 hr parking . Staff was really friendly and helpful.
I have been a member of the Y for many years but mainly using Trotter facilities because closer to my home. But I will come back and see you and try more classes.
Clean, family friendly, adult professional friendly, spacious, and safe.
Time slots
Gym and area are clean
I have mobility problems because I felt. I have been going to the pool to start developing the strength in my legs, because at the moment I need a wheelchair to move myself from one point to the other.
In general everybody has been very helpful and courteous. When I get to the pool area the lifeguards have been very helpful.
I am there only for the morning classes for the oldies and appreciate them and the ease of location and parking.
Everything
The cleanliness of the facility and the swimming programs.
The building is modern. I like that Tellespen offers a lot of fitness classes, an indoor pool, indoor hot tub, steam room, and dry sauna. Also a large amount of lockers and good fitness equipment
Everything
Beautiful facility, love the hot tub, pool, and steam room. I miss having my yoga instructor here, Sharon Hughes BUT thankfully she's at the Texan's Y on Saturday's at 8:15 a.m. then I drive to this facility to pamper myself! Excellent customer service!
The facilities are excellent, but some services have declined since the Covid shutdown.
The fourth floor needs to be thoroughly and regularly cleaned. Using the weight machine gives members a disheartening opportunity see how sketchy the cleaning service is.
When will lockers be available to rent again? Having a locker makes the clean-up after exercise much more pleasant.
If members are going to be asked to sanitize (that might not be the most accurate term) machines after using them for the safety of other members, sturdier towels would make that process easier and more effective.
The Espersen Downtown Y is a significant asset, and it needs to be maintained in top-notch fashion.
Great Body Attack classes.
I’ve been a member of the YMCA almost 40 years and served on the Trotter board for nine years. This facility has always been in tune with its members needs and wants and serves the community with a Christian heart. Rumors are circulating though. Please do not sell out to real estate pressures. Continue to provide for the needs of the community’s heart, soul and mind.
Cleanliness of facility, variety of classes, group exercise classes instructors
I love the opportunity I get at the Tellepsen Y to meet and chat with folks from such a wide spectrum of life. I interact with policemen, ballet dancers, folks with prosthetic limbs, in wheelchairs, folks from various countries, fit folks, folks working toward fitness, young, not young, and ALL are working to improve their physical and mental health. It’s inspiring and it’s awesome.
I love their sports and gym and youth center also teen activities
Everything. Pool, group exercises.
I absolutely love the Les Mills group workout classes and the instructors !
Good instructors. Good facilities. Good schedules of classes.
I wish more young people would wear masks. Usually I can safely avoid most of them.
Accessibility
It would be awesome if you were open earlier on Sundays.
I love the women's room.
GREAT
I like the classes you offer and the instructors.
Variety........
It has something for everyone! Exercise, education, swimming, lectures. It is wonderful. Best investment I ever made! I even made a new young friend on my senior connection program and we are still talking!
Thank you
Very happy to see more programs are added and more times to choose from.
