First, the employees are exceptionally nice and courteous . I like that they have an indoor walking track , which no other gym in my area has one, it was my main reason for signing up. The pool, sauna, and updated exercise equipment is a bonus, I haven't tried the activities yet but i am looking forward too it.

My wife and I use the downtown gym. We have been going there since we retired in 2015. It is so well cared for. The staff on that floor and frankly on all floors are so open to hearing questions and I always get an answer. I so wish there were more organizations tht followed the downtown Ys "policy" when it comes to questions from members.
Like classes for seniors.
But go to other YMCA's for outdoor pool.
i loved the women's wellness center but it is gone.
I love the new equipment that’s available. Everything is organized so well and the app is great. I haven’t had a chance to check out programs yet, but that’s next on my list. My only downside would be the pool area. It’s clean, but it’s old and gives the appearance of being dirty. I use it, but I can see where it might be a downside for some people.

The pool facilities, while modest, are clean, and the support staff (lifeguards, etc.) are very kind and look out for us swimmers well.

So much to do at this location. It’s very spread out so it never feels crowded becuse of the layout. tons of activities that the whole family can enjoy and my family does. You literally could spend hours just having a good time here and if you get hungry they have a sandwich shop, how cool is that
A few classes just right for me, such as Zumba Gold. Easy to get to from my home.
The second urinal in the men's dressing room has had a plastic bag over it for four weeks - a very bad image for maintenance. Two weeks ago there was a very large puddle of water in front of the first urinal, maybe a leak?
I still think someone should solve the problem with the blower in front that area after Ultra Bad Services mops it to make it wet. A dry area should not have to be mopped or dried - again a very bad image for maintenance.
The men's shower area is very slippery. If Ultra Bad Services is worried about the urinal area being slippery, they should put a mat in the men's shower area like the mat in the drying area outside the shower area.
I am so impressed with the facility upgrades recently made, even if I don't use them.
I like the sauna and the new recovery room, but there still isn’t enough workout equipment for the number of new people who have probably joined. I’ve had to cut my workout sessions short a few times because the gym was too crowded and the equipment was constantly occupied.
I like that I don't have to walk far to park and I like that I can safely walk on the indoor walking track and relax in the warm whirlpool afterwards. Also, the facility is kept very clean.

I love the option to take class every morning at 8:45 with my senior peer group!
I have so enjoyed doing Dancing with the Silver Stars these past 2 years. Our Zumba teacher Eloisa is fantastic in taking on this yearly time-intensive project.
I wish there was a quieter, designated space for stretching.
The new "recovery" room is a great addition, but I can't take on the additional cost.
