I like all of the instructors and classes at the YMCA. From yoga to body pump to spin class...they are all excellent workouts and fun to attend.
Installations are great and people are very friendly.
Water aerobic classes are great. My favorite instructors are Mary in therapy pool Mon, Wed and Friday water aerobic. Ryan and Eva who are no longer there, Their rigorous workouts are what I needed to lose weight and inches. I prefer water classes due to joint pain and mobility problems.
These instructors always had alternative moves if I couldn't do a certain exercise without making me feel like an invalid.
Ilove the swim excersize classes that you used to have at night but no longer do.
Aqua aerobics I believe you called it ..They were on Mon --Thursday from 630-730 pm
I really wish you would reinstate them!!!!
I also wish you would clean the hot tub more often..
I love being able to converse with friends while we are excersizing to music!!
Well equipped fitness center. Nearly always open.
There are many to chose from and try. It helps to keep things fresh and not end up taking the same classes over and over again.

The 6am cycling classes are amazing
Great group exercise classes with top-notch, friendly instructors. The instructors are always working with us to improve form toi assure that we are getting the most out of each class. They make exercise fun!
Overall, the Tellepsen Y is a great facility. Only thing I would that would make it better would be a better pool. More lanes, better ventilation, clearer water, etc. I understand that's basically impossible to renovate, so that's why I go to another Y for all my pool workouts. Everything else about this Y is awesome. Thanks!
