My wife & I are interested in the gym and fitness at the Y. We are there at least four times a week. We are addicted to the EGYM. The program is especially great for our age group. We have found the staff helpful & professional. The atmosphere is welcoming & congenital.

I am senior citizen and enjoy variety of classes offered. Instructors are overall excellent. A couple of them are less enjoyable than others. The water aerobics classes are very popular in summer. Sign-up is challenging and we set our alarms to be sure we get in. Suggest expanding water classes to twice daily as able. Indoor classes are significantly better now that we have moved to larger gym and can have 60 in class.
Respectful, friendly staff. Allowing more members to sign up for classes as number increase and space to exercise.

Convenient location with broad selection of workout activities. Reasonable hours and adequate parking space.

The variety of programs offered for members of all ages.
I use the fitness area a lot. My only request would be to get some more barbell sleeves. Many people do deep knee bends with weights and these sleeves cushion older shoulders. Otherwise I have always liked the programs, especially youth sports. My grandkids have participated and my only suggestion would be to more actively pursue coaches. It seemed there was a shortage. I coached soccer for over 10 years and these are very important programs to maintain.

I’d really like to attend Shavon’s Saturday classes but it’s always so crowded, it would be great if it was moved to the gym.

Lots of variety.
Swimming, weight machines
Gym is well equipped and has some of the latest machines. I especially enjoy the EGYM machines. Staff friendly and helpful.
The Bodypump instructors are great: I regularly go to Milton’s Tuesday a.m. and Stella Skelton’s Thursday mornings. Have enjoyed most other instructors for Bodybalance, yoga and Pilates.
The schedule for evening Bodypump classes is more limited than pre-pandemic, making it harder for working folks to come. (Really miss the Friday 5:45pm slot.)
