Recently we walked up to the back porch with a flat and a badly worn tire 15 minutes before opening on a Sunday. There was a small group there. Liam inquired about the problem. He then took the bike away and was back before opening with a new tire and tube mounted. We were able to continue our ride. What more can I say about services?

There is a myth out there that you are the most expensive place to buy outdoor equipment - indirectly, I think you could educate people as to how competitive you actually are for the quality of products you carry.

I don't shop on-line for the things I can get at Wild Rock, because I want my money to stay in my community and I want to be able to interact with people who can answer my questions and, on very rare occasions, handle my returns or warranty questions.

One feature that truly sets Wildrock apart is their unwavering support for the Peterborough community from the Banff Mountain Film festival - an annual family outing highlight every January and their initiatives to support local at risk youth via donations to the YES shelter. Wildrock efforts to support YES have not only directly benefitted the shelter residents but also raised community awareness of this worthy cause.
