The pool area is well designed. The larger pool was warm and the configuration was well suited for the aqua fitness class

We love the Y . The staff is wonderful. The only thing we don’t like is that there are so many swim lessons that is seems like it’s less and less room for kids just to go and enjoy the pool. On Tuesdays and Thursdays now if you want to go and enjoy the pool you only have water that’s two or 3 feet deep and everybody is crammed into about 1/3 of the pool , the rest of pool is for swim lessons. I understand the need for swim lessons our son did them but I don’t think it’s right that families keep getting pushed and pushed out of the way. We hope this issue does not continue to get worse or take up all the days during the week. Summer is coming so will be able to enjoy the outdoor pools more. Again the staff are Amazing.

It’s very clean
The weight room is very organized and the plates are all the same. Oldham Co. YMCA the weight room is cluttered and the plates are all different types, so trying to find the same weight is an eastern egg hunt.
I really like the walk path upstairs at the Norton YMCA

Love Connie, all the instructors, and lifeguards. It’s been a great experience for my son.
The swim instructors Justine and Hope were very friendly and encouraging to my little ones. They learned a lot and gained confidence in the water.
Is the second year with that instructor, the kids love it! They got so much better at swimming after the lessons.

The equipment is and there is enough to avoid lonng waits the trainers are friendly and available to provide asssistence as needed. Facilities are open and clean. many classes are acvailableand well attended.
