There is really very little that I dislike about the Northeast YMCA. I always appreciate the willing helpful personnel at the check-in counter. If there is a question concerning information or another issue they will find the answer and if they don't know they will find out. So so helpful. I can only imagine how impressed a new member might be.
I so grateful for the "do not use phone" on the equipment--now we need to make sure the employee working the rooms remind members of that policy when they see it broken.
The removal of the carpeting and new flooring in the adult locker room is appreciated.
I have noticed a concerted effort being made to clean the internal floor area of each piece of equipment.
It would be helpful if the male employee at any given tie keep an eye on tissue and soap in the showers.
The cleanliness and willingness of staff to help out when needed. I haven’t attended many group classes yet.

I love the Y. Nice friendly people. Both workers and members. Water classes are my gig! Great variety of times and teachers. Move and Splash!
On the down side. The showers in the girls locker room are yucky! Too much mold!
I like to use those showers because the women’s is really busy after a water class. If the workers in the evening would spray them every day the mold would not be issue. This problem is not new but keeps happening. Sorry for the complaint.
Facilities are alerts clean , staff is very attentive
It has a lot more to offer than some of the ones I have been to.
Group fitness classes and the instructors who teach them. They make an effort to know you by name and connect. Friendly employees greet you and say hi in the halls. Feels like family.
The pickleball community there. Would love to see some night pickleball hours (6-9pm) for people who work during the day.

Music is at a good level...I can talk and hear people.
Lighting is at a good balance and not glaring.
I had bad accident 3 yrs ago and finding a gym with low Music and soft Lighting has been a huge challenge. It has been so nice to actually go to a real gym and enjoy a workout an a variety of classes. My condition has made this a problem and finally found the right place for me.
