What I like best about the YMCA is how it brings people together in such a positive, welcoming way. It’s more than just a gym it’s a true community. I feel like I belong there, no matter my fitness level or background. Everyone is supportive, and the atmosphere is always encouraging.
I also appreciate how affordable the programs are. Whether it’s swim lessons for kids, fitness classes for adults, or even summer camps, the Y makes it accessible for families—and they even offer financial assistance if needed.
As a family-oriented person, I love that the YMCA is a space where kids, teens, and parents can all find something meaningful to do. From childcare services to youth sports and family activities, it’s a great place for all of us to grow together.
But what really stands out to me is the mission behind it all. The YMCA is about more than just physical health—they care about social responsibility, youth development, and helping the whole person thrive. That makes me proud to be part of it.
And finally, the variety is amazing. I can go there to work out, take a class, or even just connect with others. It’s a place that supports me in so many areas of my life.

It is a great place to relax. I love the pool. I like the warm water pool the best, sometimes the main pool is rather cool in the mornings.
I like the layout of the fitness center and the equipment ( free weight area, workout and cardio equipment). I really like the Precor cardio equipment. The pools are great as well and we really like to use the warm water therapy pool. It never seems to be overly crowded so the wait to use the equipment is not long. We live close to the Clark County YMCA so that is a plus as well.
