we love the YMCA and go three or more times a week. I do the water aerobics and my husband exercises on the machines.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I don't participate in the programs but there are lots of activities. I specifically go for the weights & cardio machines but I like the fact that there are free weights I can use if I want as well as the indoor track which means I can work out rain, sleet, snow or 110 degree heat. Also everyone on staff is helpful & friendly. It's nice to walk in & be greeted with my name or affectionate nickname lol & a pleasant look since we're wearing masks & you can't see the smiles...but you can hear it in everyone's voices. It's just a great place to be.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

Our teacher was AMAZING! Our son learned more in four private lessons that he has in months of group lessons at a different facility. If we were not moving over an hour away we would absolutely keep signing up for private lessons.

Private swim lessons were so helpful for my 7 year old. He needed help with his skills, and Ms. Sam was the perfect teacher for him.

Benbrook Y's walking track is a super place to walk during Texas summer heat.
I can't wait for senior yoga, tai chi and general exercise programs to restart.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I like the group exercises classes. The Benbrook Y does a wonderful job of employing caring, motivating and knowledgeable instructors.
Lana Battle pays attention to each participant and explains how to properly perform each exercise. It matters to her that everyone is safe and getting the most out of their workout.
Kristi King is fun, energetic and caring. She is very motivating and her classes are fun.
Cat and Carissa are stars of the show they can do no wrong.
Lara Hall and Holly are also great motivators, they really care about each person. We are more than just exercising together we are the Y family.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I want the YMCA to stay open at least until 8:00 a.m. You accommodated folks by opening earlier, but those who work we depend on the evening hours. Closing at 7:30 p.m. is a odd time.
