We have members of the downtown Y since 1985. Both of our kids are currently members too.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

You maintaince man who takes care of the men’s locker room states the steam room is only cleaned or rinsed down twice a day
With the amount of traffic in both steam and sauna it requires 4 times per day

It needs To be rinsed down at least two additional times during the day

It is Has A Very Friendly Staff, and it is Very Clean! Very Well Kept! I Really Appreciate Everybody for Keeping The Gym Clean. I Love The New Pool. I am Sick but As Soon as I Get Better, I will Be Back. Thanks for Everyone That is Doing Their Part to Take Care of The DOWNTOWN YMCA! 😊👍🏽

Large, stacked weight room = A+!

Kid Zone = Wonderful staff!!! ...On that note, sweet staff gym-wide.

Water fountain in weight room runs warm.
A cool running fountain would be fab👍

What do you like about our programs and activities?

I really like the improvement, the YMCA has made since I joined last September. The environment IS very much family oriented. I feel at home when I am there and it's a safe place to work out and enjoy.

There is so much available, and some of the programs are geared to senior citizens. We especially enjoy the yoga classes (with Lorie as the instructor).

I like the meaning and core values of the YMCA. Having worked for the YMCA through High School I am well aware of the training of the staff and the high level set for all programs involving children.

What do you like about our programs and activities?

The staff is excellent and very helpful and friendly. The staff cleaning the men's locker room stay constantly busy keeping the locker room clean and in order. I am excited that the swimming and jacuzzi area have been updated and reopened. I plan to participate in the water aerobics class again soon.
