I go to the YMCA on a 134th street in Bixby. The place is spotless, and the staff is so friendly and helpful. My wife and I enjoy going there because there are many different things to do such as swimming, aerobics classes, personal training (Heather, she is exceptional), walking track, plenty of different exercise equipment, weights, basketball and even pickleball. If you have young children, they even have daycare while you are using the facilities.

The classes are.great and are not jammed packed. Instructors are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful.
Swimming
I just love the programs and activities... period.

I love the summer day camp program! Building friendships while learning how to care for others and learning new skills such as swimming, tie dye, etc. Fun times!
I had low expectations for the aquatic aerobics. However, I was pleasantly surprised at the intensity of the work out. Easy on the joints but REALLY impactful!
We signed up for swim lessons not knowing what to expect and we are super happy with the quality of the program and the Daily Family YMCA - Aquatics overall. The instructor is able to go over essential swim techniques, that are at my 4 year olds level, in a short amount of time in a way where my child can still retain what he has learned. The time slots offered met the needs of our schedule and the staff are all very helpful and friendly.
Kids get an opportunity to swim every day, stay active, enjoy the field trips
Our son loves his days at the YMCA! It’s perfect for his busy little body and he’s always sharing with us his projects that are done for that day!

I am a swimmer - so that is all I have done at this location or any of the locations.
I like that I could add my grown daughter to my membership as well as have my own membership for a reasonable price.
I like that everybody that works there seems really friendly and helpful.
I like that I don't feel like I am being ogled when I am there swimming or taking a tour around.
I like that all of the different locations all have something a little different.
I wish that the location nearest to me - Garnett had more swim classes, though.
With my schedule it is hard to make the 6:00 p.m. Classes, but I am grateful that they have any at all. My old gym - Planet Fitness did not offer any classes at all.

Coaches may need more support, classes or videos showing things for the kids to do that both fun and informative.

I am limited in what I can do at the Y due to surgeries. My husband and I enjoy water walking three days a week.
Friendly and kind people at the front desk and in the play room for kids. I love being able to work out and not worry about if my kids are okay.
